Update : There will be no restriction after April 18th 2022!
Every time I turn on TV, I feel like they are reporting every new rules. It turns out Corona restriction in Korea changes every two weeks(normally). It depends on how severe the case is. The government normally limit with 2~10 people range for public gathering. Once it got so severe it was limited to 2 people after 6pm. The regulation changes regarding time, number of people you can meet. Also there are different restriction by region because Seoul and its surrounding parts(Gyeonggi, Incheon) have massive population than other regions.
So here are the contents about regulation until 22.03.20 . For now they are limiting the gathering of people for 6 people.(for all region this time) Also you need to get vaccination pass(I uploaded a post for how to get this) to enter restaurants, cafes, karaoke room so on. I made a table down below*. What if you didn’t get vaccination? you can still enter, by entering alone or have PCR test which is available for 24 hours (+ until that midnight) after you get result.(it used to be for 48 hours but now it is 24 hours😥) Facilities like restaurants, café, gym, bars and clubs are closed at 9 pm. Academies, theater, pc room are closed on 10 pm. For the big events, less than 50 people can gather. If it is for the fully vaccinated people only, it can be held within 299 people.

What happens if you violate the regulation? If you don’t wear any mask, don’t have any pcr test or vaccination pass but enter restaurant with people, or being with more than 4 people, you will get a fine. Also if contagion happens due to your violation, government can charge you more or so. The fine is 100,000 won, which is around 84.25 dollars, 74.36 euros, 536.94 ¥, 478.13 BRL
